Swayam Textile Industry

Established in 2008, with a capacity of 40-unit production per day. The office was situated at Ulubari, Guwahati. Later the factory was shifted at Garchuk with a capacity of 1000 units production per day. ‘Swayam Textile’ manufactured readymade garments for men and women. Swayam textile also produced school and office uniforms.

Costruction & Logistics

With a vision of strengthening Guwahati, the organization made significant investments in acquiring state-of-the-art equipment, including Hydra Crane, Dumper, Road Roller and Excavator. Swayam Priority Group is a significant identity in the field of transportation of construction materials such as fly ash and cement, as well as in the construction of roads and buildings.
Additionally, RKS handles the loading and unloading of fly ash and raw materials from Barahu Station, Assam, and distributes them to various company godowns and also transport cement from factories’ godowns to their clients throughout Assam.

Dry Fish

Jagiroad, Assam, is home to one of the biggest dry fish markets in Asia, SPG used to procure fish from Digha Mohana, West Bengal and sell the product in this market, and still maintains two wholesale shops.

Swayam Priority Group

Swayam Priority Group began its travel and tourism operations in Kolkata, West Bengal, alongside its dry fish business operated in Kolkata. Later on, they relocated this business to Jagiroad, Assam, where they continue to thrive in both sectors.

Bonda Pump House

This 1700×2 LPS (Liters per second) capacity pump house is used for draining water from the city and routing it to the Brahmaputra River. This activity helps to keep the city free from water logging. RKS has established and is still maintaining 2 pump houses that pump out the excess water from the city to the river.

Silsako Pump House

This 1700×2 LPS (Liters per second) capacity pump house, owned by the Guwahati Municipal Development Authority and constructed by RKS under the State Government of Assam, plays a crucial role in draining water from the city to the Brahmaputra River. RKS is responsible for both the operation and maintenance of this facility, providing significant benefits to the local population.

Nehru Park

The remodelling of Nehru Park spans 20 bighas and includes statues of Pandit Nehru and King Ashoka, along with fountains. This park is dedicated to Pandit Nehru. The children’s area is open from 10 am till 8 pm. Planned, built, and maintained by RKS, the park’s garden planning has been well appreciated. The Park was inaugurated on 10th May 2023, and the project also features a multi-utility building, including Niri’s Park View Restaurant. Every year, the Chief Minister of Assam pays tribute in this park to Freedom Fighter Kushal Konwar on his death anniversary, 15th June, and to Gopinath Bordoloi on his birth anniversary, 6th June.

Shraddhanjali Kanan

Shraddhanjali Kanan, spanning 18 bighas, is meticulously maintained and beautified by RKS. Every year, the Chief Minister pays homage to the martyrs of the freedom movement and soldiers on Republic Day and Independence Day at this park. Shraddhanjali Kanan also features a cafeteria and an open-air theatre for cultural programs.

Amrit Udyan

Initially developed by the Government of Assam, Amrit Udyan spans 13 bighas. Impressed by RKS’s excellent maintenance of other parks, the government entrusted RKS with the maintenance of Amrit Udyan as well.

Silsako Beel Lake

Silsako Beel Lake, sprawling across 541 Bigha, is set to become India’s one of the largest lakes with the involvement of reputable contractors like RKS. This expansive project aims to improve waste water storage while transforming the area into a community focal point. It features boating, playgrounds, designated paths for morning and evening walks, a lakeside café, and an open-air theatre for cultural events. Silsako Lake is envisioned as a dynamic center for leisure and cultural activities, enhancing the region’s appeal and sustainability.
